La-briut.org is the only web site dedicated solely to women's health in Israel. Its purpose is to provide Israeli women with access to health information in order to empower them to make informed choices about their health. Physicians spend an average of 7 minutes per visit with their patients in Israel, and remarkably small numbers of Israeli women report speaking with their physicians about preventive health issues. The website consists of an extensive list of women's health issues, including breast cancer, menopause, birth and fertility, and mental health, to name only a few. Each section contains vital and current information relating to the topic and links to published journal articles. La-briut receives between 50-60,000 visits per year. $2,500 will support a specific "department" such as adolescence, fertility and childbirth, midlife, healthy hearts, breast cancer, etc. $5,000 will support an interactive forum $10,000 to become a major donor and "patron" of "La-Briut"
